MY STORY
Hallo my dearest friends all around the globe!
I was raised in an era full of inspiration and creativity. I remember my father taking a piece of wood and create exquisite furniture that now may be considered as antiques! Hence, in a way, I would say that I inherited the passion for creation from my father.
Given that I was really motivated in cultivating this passion and learning how to imprint my ideas into raw materials, I attended to clay seminars and jewelry classes. During those classes, one of my supervisors convinced me to put my ideas into the “professional world”. So here I am, trying to express myself through an new eshop and provide to people so unique artworks (for their home or for themselves) as unique as they are.

As its brand name reveals, GreekShadesOfBlue took its name from the magnificent destinations of my country, namely Greece. Greece is surrounded by the colors of the sea, namely “blue” and “white”. Blue is considered as a primary color that, when combined with any other color, it may provide a wide range of exceptional other secondary colors. White constitutes a color that is perceived by the eye when confronted with all visible wavelengths of light. Taking inspiration from the way that these two colors create multiple extraordinary images, my creations combine basic materials such as clay, metal, wood, acrylic paints, various ribbons and enamels, in order to provide to you unique handmade goods, just like the unique and flawless beauty of Greece.
